    So many kitty pillows! I have nine different kitty characters in cuddly pillow form, and hopefully another two will be available once my custom fleece arrives. These are super soft and huggable at about 13″ across. These will be available at conventions this summer and on my Etsy shop.

    Charlotte MiniCon 2016

    I’ll be at the Charlotte MiniCon at the Grady Cole Center next weekend with lots of fun stuffs! For 2016, I’ve been working on some new goodies. Nerd Bats are back with a slight redesign. These little guys have fun patterned fabric for the wings and ear interiors. These will be available in a ton of different fun fabrics with bodies made of cuddly fleece in black, brown, beige, and gray. Something new for 2016; fun and nerdy pillow shams! Each one has a nerdy fabric on the front and a coordinating fabric on the back.

    Making of a Plush Video

    For a while now I’ve been wanting to make a video showing the process of making one of my plush and this week I finally got it done! And here’s the finished product! He’s so cuddly and HUGE; over 3″ taller than my standard size plush! Although the video only takes about eleven minutes, in real time he took over three hours to complete. (That doesn’t include the time it took to draft new patterns for the beard and hair and enlarge the other pattern pieces for his body and clothes.) I hope you enjoyed the video!     It’s just under a month until Heroes Con in Charlotte,  my first show of the year. I can’t even wait! I’ve finished all the 18″ plush I wanted to have done for the show, and several more characters than I had originally planned. Very productive! In the time left, I’ve been working on pony plush. Actually,  trying to work on them. My embroidery machine decided it didn’t want to work properly.  While I wait for it to get fixed, I’ve been keeping myself busy with little plush as well as trying to get as much done on the ponies as I can, mostly manes and tails.
